  • 昔のゲームはスペックの限界から、短い台詞で多くを表現する工夫が必要だった。だからプログラマが書いても（失礼）自然と行間のある台詞になり、プレイヤーが台詞の向こうを想像できた。ミンナニハナイショダヨ、という数十バイトの向こうに色んな事情を感じた。
  • でもプレステ以降、たっぷり容量があるから無理して台詞を短く納めなくてよくなる。結果、行間のない冗長な台詞がゲームにあふれる。長い台詞を書くのは難しい。素人が書けば素人臭さが隠せない。
  • それが、昔のゲームに名台詞が多い気がする理由の1つなんじゃないかと、私は思ってたりしてます。
